Supported Formats

huhu.ai accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. For the best results we recommend PNG files with transparent backgrounds, as these give the AI the cleanest starting point for garment extraction and compositing.

Maximum file size is 20 MB per image. If your files exceed this limit, consider compressing them with a tool like TinyPNG before uploading.

Image Requirements

For optimal AI output, images should be at least 1024 x 1024 pixels with the garment centered in the frame. Consistent, even lighting without harsh shadows produces the most accurate colour reproduction.

Avoid images with heavy post-processing filters, as these can confuse the AI model and lead to artefacts in the generated output.

Upload Methods

You can upload images through the Studio drag-and-drop zone, the file browser, or programmatically via the REST API. Batch uploads are supported -- simply select multiple files or drop an entire folder into the upload area.

For large catalogues, the API upload endpoint supports multipart uploads and returns a job ID so you can track progress asynchronously.

Organizing Your Library

After uploading, images appear in your Media Library. Use folders, tags, and colour labels to keep your catalogue organized. You can search by filename, tag, or upload date to quickly find the image you need.
